Admissions to Holmer Green Junior School are managed by Buckinghamshire Council. All new entries to the school follow the Admission Criteria set down by Buckinghamshire Council. We admit up to 32 pupils per class for Key Stage 2 (Year 3 and upwards). 

Children are able to start school in the academic year in which they reach their fifth birthday.  Attending the Holmer Green First School does not guarantee entry to the junior school.

 Before applying to join the school, we encourage you to visit us and see us in action!

 When joining the school at the beginning of an academic year, we hold a welcome meeting, in order to provide details about what will happen when your child starts school.  Your child will also be invited to a separate transition morning where they will also have the chance to meet their class teacher and classmates.  We aim to make the transition to school life as smooth as possible.
