Welcome to HGJS

At Holmer Green Junior School we pride ourselves on being a friendly, caring school where all of our staff are committed to providing the best possible learning experiences so that all our children can achieve their full potential. Children leave us with the ability to stand confident and ready to succeed with the inner belief and knowledge to cope in today's society.

Each and every member of our staff, every pupil and every parent presents a confidence in our school, because their opinion is valued and we all believe collectively in the school's direction of travel. We present a school and an environment where pupils are proud of the school they attend.

We inspire, we enable and we achieve. Together.

INSPIRE

Our enthusiastic staff nurture the independence and self-esteem of children to ensure they are prepared for life. We promote the ability within children to develop a sense of community through which children learn to respect and value others.

ENABLE

We foster an inspiring and creative curriculum enabling pupils to develop a love of learning.

ACHIEVE

Our superb quality of teaching means that children achieve highly and make the most of their potential.  Our schools offers a culture where children and young people feel included, respected, safe and secure and where their achievements and contributions are valued and celebrated. This is essential to the development of good relationships.

We are a ‘Rights Respecting School’ where our children are nurtured and helped to interact with others, displaying the qualities outlined above.
